September 21, 2003 a major and ostentatious event took place at various sites in Israel for Shimon Peres' birthday. Attendees represented many of the "elite" around the world and in Israel. Surprisingly the main organizers are leaders of Israel's "right", including President Katzav and Prime Minister Sharon.
Peres is a key architect and evangelist of the Oslo Illusion, a leading cause of large numbers of deaths and injuries in Israel due to terror.
Intellectuals and technologist discussed Peres' political personality and his activities over the past half century.
