The Jerusalem Community House was founded by the Jerusalem municipality in order to respond to the social needs of new immigrants from various countries and to assist their integration into Israeli society.

The Community House is a home to 50 organizations working for the benefit of diverse audiences and purposes. It is run by a small staff and has close to 300 volunteers.

Nearly 30,000 people pass pass through the Community House each year.

The organization is divided into seven groups:

The Community House gives all 50 organizations the use of office facilities and services, rooms, and assistance in planning, organizing and executing projects. There are also free services for the benefit of the center’s visitors: psychological consultations, a lawyer as well as a councellor.
